“The photos make it look a bit cheap and plasticy but IRL it is a really nice case. It fits the Pi 4 and IQAudio (now Raspberry Pi) DAC very well. The connectors line up nicely with the holes. Note that when using stand-offs to join the DAC and the Pi (not included), ensure the stud (nut) end is uppermost and use screws on the bottom. Otherwise the Pi doesn't clip into the retainer. Also, when it arrived, it was not at all obvious how to open the lid so I checked the instruction video: the lid slides off sideways - no tools needed. I have not yet tried the fan - it seems ok without running PiCorePlayer, just warm to the touch - but I brought one just in case I run into any thermal issues in the future.”
“Simple and perfectly sized, the Pi and HAT clip securely into place, and all of the ports line up well with the cutouts. Also great to have the option of a fan if I find things are running too hot, but I think the vents should provide enough passive air flow.”
“A premium case that fits right into a DIY HiFi setup. The plastic feels solid and high quality and the internal locking mechanism for the SD card door is a neat touch. Would recommend!”
“Good quality case, fits my pi 4 + iqaudio dac pro perfectly, also fitted the optional fan so mobo and dac are nice and cool. Looks neat. Decent price and swift delivery.”
“A really nice case, no mounting hardware required, the Pi just clips in place. The hardest part was opening it for the first time! The instructions are on the back of the box it comes in”
