I purchased these to top up my stock and the price is the best so far as they are more expensive on ebay so im very happy with them.

I have not used an ATtiny85 before. This device is very compact and I intend to use it in a pseudo random noise generator design I saw on a synthesiser website. This device is supported by the arduino IDE though for such a small device I could just a easily used an assembler.

Taking my first dip into AVR microcontrollers, and I'm surprised by how much you can get out of this little thing. Using the SparkFun AVR board and Arduino IDE, even as a beginner I can work out how to code simple routines for this, and am rapidly learning. I recommend downloading the official datasheet and associated documents from Atmel's site, they're extremely insightful.

These ic chips are the best priced chips out there. Could have got them slightly cheaper but would have had to wait a month to get them. Overall, PiHut is the best place to buy electronic components cheaply with quick shipping. 5* A++
