I cannot recommend this because the software is unsupported - from the kernel module (gasket) to the pycoral library. Tricks like using a container might work for the software although this is an extremely unsatisfying experience but when it comes to the kernel driver that's the the final nail in the coffin. I'm sorry - I wish I could say otherwise.

The Coral is doing a great job of image processing in my home server for Frigate. Easy to install, the Linux drivers were a bit of a faff with kernel modules but I did get it working in the end!

Really great addition. Used with a Pi 5 to run Frigate NVR. Takes the load from the CPU.

Great little board. Installed in hp mini pc WiFi m.2 slot to do frigate object detection. Pass through in docker was easy enough and autodetected by frigate. CPU load on 6500t dropped from average 60% to 15% average on 5 2k cameras.

After the "Back in stock" email arrived, I ordered one of these straight away; it arrived promptly. I run Homeassistant on a Dell Optiplex, which has an M2 slot (A+E) for a WiFi card, which was empty. The card was detected without problems, and integrates well with Frigate and Homeassistant, giving very fast object recognition times, exactly as I was hoping.

Finally, a use for the WiFi M.2 slot on my MB. On a more serious note, a truly awesome little piece of processing for image recognition.
