“This easy to assemble little add-on makes turning your Raspberry Pi on or off as simple as pressing a button. Basic soldering skills are required but the Pi Supply can be put together in very little time regardless of the skill level. The instructions provided on-line are a little basic but useable and as these may be a little confusing to new users with little experience in soldering and PCB assembly I intend to do a full documented how to, including photos, on-line (somewhere) very soon. Brilliant product and a must have for any dedicated Raspberry Pi owner.”
“I tried running RPi B with a tablet type PSU nominally rated at 1A and it kept rebooting like it did with the USB hub which had a 2A PSU but limited the current on any one socket. Got the Pi Hut 1.5A power supply and everything works fine. The RPi may only need 700mA but a bit of headroom helps. The PSU runs nice and cool and the lead is a sensible length. Good price and quick delivery.”
