What can I say.....it's magic. Bought this along with the NES PI 4 case so I could write to the SSD without opening my pc. Works really well, installing the SSD was easy. What I would say though.....the SSD encloser that cames with this is a little tricky to take out of the NES PI 4 case....I had to use a pair of pincer pliers to get it out in the end. Would still recommend though. It's like a dinky NES cartrige. Would have been nice to have some different stickers in the box, the one on mine was the same as the sticker in the NES PI 4 ONE ☹️

Beautiful in looks, and beautiful in functionality. It "just works" out of the box with Raspberry Pi and any other OS, and the cart slides in and out terrifically well. It's not loose or wobbly. Once an SSD is in it's a nice snug fit.

These are really good when setting up the RPI4 for SSD boot

So cool, fits in the Retroflag NesPi 4 case, wich comes with just one cardridge. So this is a nice expansion. The sleeve works as a “usb card reader”, easy for updating your cardridge (ssd). Completely bootable on the Pi 4, just update your Pi 4 with the latest kernal update and it will boot instantly without an sd card. That…and it brings back them lovely Nes memories. Build quality is decent, price at the Pi Hut is very reasonable. Pi Hut’s shipping, handling and status updates are spot on, even over seas. Trusty partner for your Pi peripherals !

These look great, Etsy has some custom sticker suppliers to help make the cartridge look more authentic.

this is really owrth it! it works amazingly with the case, obviously, but also acts as a lovely standalone SSD, checked and it manages to move the max usb3 data transfer rate when plugged to a mac

A fantastic little bit of kit doesn't just look like a NES cartridge, but actually has the feel. Works perfectly and I am able to use it with a variety of machines without any compatibility issues. Delivery as usual was also super quick from the PiHut
