The case is fiddly to assemble and put the Pi into, but once built it's a brilliant case that holds the Pi (2,3 or4) and the official 7-inch screen, all in one single unit. Not much wider than the screen but a little taller, there's a space for a Pi-Cam underneath the screen (not the newer ultra high-res thingy). In the box of parts come two useful power splitters, one for PI2's and 3's and another for Pi4's. These split the power (from an official Pi PSU is best) to both the Pi and the screen via the relevant USB power ports. The case uses GoPro style mounts to allow it stand at a chosen angle, and extra mounts are provided so you fasten it to a wall if you prefer. The micro-sd card for the o/s is not accessible aloowing the case to be used as a POS or Info terminal if you want and the Pi's ports can be blanked off too if required. Indeed the whole Pi can be buried inside the case on an alternative mount position making nothing accessible. My favourite Pi screen case so far.

Nicely designed. Great instructions. A little fiddly in some areas but a good purchase.

Great case for the Raspberry Pi. Very professional construction and easy instructions on how to build up the case. Would highly recommend.

Great piece of kit. This is not my first SmartiPi product as I have a previous one from a Kickstarter campaign which I was impressed with. I went for the large back so I had plenty of room. I've managed to get a camera, microphone, SSD hard drive, illuminated power button, and speakers in there so far with more space for extras. I added a small bluetooth keyboard and I've got everything I need for a convenient portable Pi 4 computer. The case is really well built and quite rugged and It doesn't take up too much space on your desktop. It does what I need it to do and I have a feeling I'll be building another one soon for my grandson. If you don't need dual screens and you want the convenience of a Pi in a touchscreen package, grab one.
