“I'd previously bought a micro-USB power switch cable (with a rocker switch) for my RPi 3 from a seller on eBay. But whenever I used it, the Pi would show a 'thunderflash' icon (under-volt warning) in the top corner of the screen, so I had to discard the switch and power the Pi directly from the mains adapter, which meant plugging and unplugging to turn the machine on and off.
I ordered this switch cable from the PiHut yesterday morning and it arrived 24 hours later. It's a neat design, really well made, and best of all, the Pi doesn't give an under-volt warning when drawing current through it—even when the processor's working hard to show a YouTube video. I'm chuffed!”
