It's the perfect thing for him to learn to code using Make Code and it can keep his interest with all the features (his favourite being the inbuilt speaker). I've also used it myself a couple times as it is perfect for small projects as it is tiny and has an array of sensors, a speaker and LED display. Would highly recommend as the value for money is amazing.”
“Just had to have it. I got the Micro:bit v1 just before this launched and wanted to play around. Comes with a program to show some of the cool sensors built-in. Works with the microbit play setup I had. Very cool. Wish there was now a way to deactivate the speaker that I'd said I wanted XD.”
