“The components arrived promptly by Royall Mail tracked delivery. The HC-05 items appeared to be of good quality and "as described". In AT command mode each component showed as version 3.0 (ie they are all the "classic" version, rather than incompatible BLE modules). Two of the items have been "paired" and are operating successfully in a project.

“Easy to use device (depending on what you want to do) but online documentation somewhat lacking. Curiously will automatically sync with another nearby HC-05 which was fortunate for me as I was trying to wirelessly connect two picos and couldn't successfully program the HC-05 in AT mode.”
