“Decided to use a Pi4-4g as a NAS. So found that a SSD and SSD to USB 3 cable would suit my needs. Great idea! Went to a LARGE online retailer and bought a SSD and cable to find that it would not work with the PI. Bad idea! so bought the this one from Pi Hut. Even greater idea! Moral - stick with retailers who knows what they are doing and selling when it comes to all things Pi.”

It's cheaper just to go to the pihut and get a genuine

“I bought this cable along with a WD 240GB SSD drive. I plugged it into a R-Pi4 and transferred the Raspberry Pi OS and rebooted . Worked perfectly and boots much faster.
