This uses the Asmedia chipset - essential to get the performance as Raspberrypi ssd boot disk. Other suppliers switched to the JSM chipset which requires quirks to boot. Good price too.

It's cheap and doing the job I need it to. Not much more to ask really.

Didn't really need one of these, but ordered one anyway to go with the SSD I purchased for the NES case. If I ever need to use the SSD with something else, this is the ideal accessory. Once again, faultless delivery and service from the PiHut.

Great cable. Ideal for the Raspberry Pi 4, no need for special drives with hard-wired convertors uses standard sata. Well worth the money

Works well. Successfully connected the WD Green SSD from Pi Hut to my Windows desktop. Used Raspberry Pi Imager to flash the SSD with Ubuntu 22.04 Server. Connect the USB cable to the Raspberry Pi and configure it to use USB for boot and restart the Pi. Easy as that.

I've had trouble with a Sabrient SSD to USB 3.0 on my Raspberry Pi 400. This one works fine, and my home assistant installation is working seamlessly. One thing to note though is that due to USB interference BLE devices have stopped working. This is fine since I have a bluetooth proxy running on an ESP32.
