It works as long as it is connected to a USB 2 socket. Connected to a USB 3 socket interferes with WiFi so network connectivity is almost impossible. This is a documented bug with USB 3.0, which apparently can be overcome using USB 3.1 standard.

Great quality cable at an amazing price. Only reason I knocked a start of is the cable is a bit ridged so needs shaping to sit properly into usb above the drive. Would have knocked 1/2 star off if I could

It works where an alternative did not. I am still working through why the system seems a little less reliable now. Probably my SSD.

Works great with no additional setup. Used to connect a 2 TB drive to my Pi 4 for use as a networked Time Machine destination for my MacBook.

Before I bought different brands, when using them I must make arrangements to use them on USB 3 ports. The SSD to USB 3.0 cables which I bought from Pi Hut worked without any arrangement on USB3 ports and their speed is a little better than others.

This uses the Asmedia chipset - essential to get the performance as Raspberrypi ssd boot disk. Other suppliers switched to the JSM chipset which requires quirks to boot. Good price too.
