A great little piece of kit, with good instructions! The case for the SSD drive screws in with supplied screws, and pushes into the connectors inside the main case, then covers over with the flap. It is not obvious from the photos, but once it's in, then the drive is fixed firmly in place, and covered. You _can_ take it out if you want, but it takes enough force to avoid accidental removal.

This is a great case, its well thought out and goes together easily. Having the hard drive in a cartridge case is class. My only grip is the fan cannot be controlled and is noise. I did some testing and it is possible to run the pi without the fan as the heatsink provided is good enough. It is the basis for the control and monitoring centre for my narrow boat

The case is nice and small, and it's easy enough to assemble. However, I could not get HDMI output when using this case.

Cracker little case. I bought it due to the fact you can mount an SSD in the cartridge. You can even find stickers to give the game a more authentic feel. It would be nice if the fan was a little quieter, like the fan shim. and that the script for the button script would work in more OSes. But not going to deduct points for that.

Well engineered case with good fan. The ability to add a 2.5 SSD is a real plus point. It took a while to work out how to get the PI to boot from this (main point was to update the PI firmware to the latest version). Now I have a PI which multi boots from a 240GB SSD.

I have faced some issues using the shutdown process with the Recalbox and the Raspberry PI4 8GB, I think there’s still some incompatible.

This case is a little Heath Robinson internally because of squeezing everything in but once it's together it really is sooooo cool ... Raspberry Pi cases are rarely something that you kind of roll around in your hand admiring but this one certainly is. I've been wanting to do a RetroPi machine for a long time and this case has encouraged me to actually dedicate a machine to that purpose ... really nicely built and the cart as an external SSD holder is a great touch!
