“Have two of these running 24/7. Both working perfectly and don’t seem to get hot. A few commands in terminal will let you feed other providers such as ADSB Exchange and Flight Radar etc.”
“I have been feeding data to Flightradar24 using a generic SDR and my Raspberry Pi4 and usually had around 40 planes showing at any one time and a maximum range of 130NM. I live in a city on the South coast of the UK so there is a lot of interference from WiFi, cordless phones, cell phones etc. so I bought one of these Flightaware ProStick Plus SDR and as soon as it was up and running (30 seconds) I could see 99 planes and easily out to 200NM. Totally amazing! Great service as usual from the PiHut so this was the easiest upgrade ever.”
“Very prompt delivery. Using in conjunction with a Pi4B, as a replacement for a NooElec R820T dongle. Now receiving aircraft from 160-170nm away, as before it was only 80-90nm. Having to use an indoor ADS-B aerial which restricts the range. I'm sure if I was able to use an external aerial, the range would be 200nm plus.”
