“It corrupted the data on one of my sd cards twice. It could be reformatted, so nothing was permanently damaged.
I'm pretty sure the power was off when I switched from one card to another.
I don't trust it anymore.”
“Very good piece of kit I have it plugged in to a pi 3b plus in a bartop arcade machine with two different sd card images so I can easily flick between the two.”
“It's all that I wanted being a lazy type of person, also keeping on moving micro sd cards by fingers means contamination from the oils and acid on the skin making them not work. I will always look on your website first for anything for my Raspberry also for hardware that will also work on a non linux pc.”
“I used the Micro SD to Micro SD Extension Cable with the Micro SD to Micro SD Extension Cable , now this made the Pi400 more expandable , able to run a standard operating system and another (after switching off of course) , I found that it saved wearing out the Pi400 connector , it worked well for me.”
“I have only given this device 3/5 stars as I have a problem with it. I nearly always boot my RPis from USB attached SSDs. The RPi 4 won't boot completely from SSD - it needs the /boot to be on micro SD card still. I wanted to dual boot an RPi 4 - Raspbian & Ubuntu Mate - so the switch seemed the ideal solution. However I suspect that the chip on the device (2-1 duplexer?) introduces sufficient delay that I can't boot Mate. Raspbian is fine but Ubuntu fails to load.”
