“If your Raspberry Pi is getting a bit too warm, this little 5V cooling fan is a cheap and easy fix. It’s super small, plugs right into the GPIO pins, and does a solid job of keeping things cool, especially during heavy use like gaming, or a 24/7 server (like pihole).
It’s not totally silent, but the noise is barely noticeable unless you're really close. Installation is straightforward, and it fits nicely in most standard Pi cases.
it’s a simple, low-cost upgrade that helps your Pi stay cool and run smoothly. Definitely worth picking up if your Pi tends to overheat.”
“Good for sleave-bearing fans.
Could do with being able to get ball race fans of this size 30mm x 30mm x 8mm (or 10mm), but Pi Hut doesn't appear to stock them.
Anyone who runs a Pi 24/7/365 will quickly know that sleave-bearing fans do not last very long before their sleave-bearing becomes noisy and the fan has to be replaced.
The sleave-bearing fans are great for general intermittent use, A1+”
