“Very handy for adding peripherals to a R-Pi Zero. It really is USB 2.0 despite the white USB connectors (normally indicating USB 1.1).
The power switch disconnects power from the host port to the 4 downstream ports, but does NOT disconnect external power from the downstream ports. That can actually be useful for powering peripherals from a 5V adapter to avoid overloading a R-Pi Zero for example. The switch can even be used to cut power to the Pi for rebooting etc.”
“Excellent little micro usb hub. Good for things like pi 2 zero that only has one usb port.
I use it for connecting miltiple joysticks for multiplayer retro gaming.”
“Highly recommended product. Very cheap and works perfectly for my application
Raspberry Pi Zero 2W expanded with memory stick, wireless keyboard/mouse, USB communication with Arduino Due and 1 open port for testing. The switch offers me the option of monitoring power consumption with a USB multi-parameter plug m/w”
