“Bought this so I wouldn't have to unplug the Pi once shut down. Using this on a little media hidden behind the TV so access to the power cable is a bit fiddly so the switch, placed in a convenient location with some velcro tape, makes it easy to remove power to the Pi and with the flick of a switch is able to turn the Pi back on.”

“the cable was a bit short for my requirements (27cm). The power switch itself is well made and works well. Trouble is its too near the male USB connector which goes onto the plug. Yes, I could have got an USB extension lead but that reduces the power going to the raspberry pi (and yes I have tried using different USB plug's to make sure its not the plug itself). I know because of the coloured square that occasionally appears on the top right of bash screen (on the Raspbian OS). Certainly no problem with The Pi Hut service. Just an impulsive buy on my part!”

“it's a little bulky and the cable's a little stiff... but then it's also very sturdy and works exactly as it suggests... so it's probably bulky and stiff for a reason. I feel better about each reboot when I don't have to unplug/replug something... I'd rather it were a type B micro-USB extension instead of a type A blade extension, hence not 5-stars”
