“I was very pleased with the prompt delivery and performance of the brighter LED. I wanted to use the IR LED for a birdbox camera. The birdbox had limited light inside the box so using one of the IR Pi cameras the one LED gave enough luminosity both day and night vision. I did, however, need to diffuse the beam of light from the LED as at close quarters there was reflection for some objects in view of the camera. I made a diffuser but if PI hut could source such an item it may be handy for others embarking on the same type of project.”
“This can be used for sending remote control signals to appliances. Various projects are on the internet to work with the LED a resistor may be needed depending on pin connection and project.”
