The description did not mention the fact that it also has the ability to be powered externally but a bit disappointed that the supplier could not supply an appropriate power supply - needed to resort to eBay.”
“This is a useful small hub that I've found ideal to use inside the enclosure of my Portsdown digital amateur TV transceiver. It works straight away but I had to make an effort to get the barrel connector off EBay to make it a powered hub. This is important if using a Pi 3B and connecting devices like asoftware defined transmitter to the hub. Why not sell the barrel connector too? Rather like Where's Wally can you spot the hub in the picture?”
