If you want to interface LED strips with your Raspberry Pi (any model) then these are the baby's to get!!! You only need one channel normally, but as they are so reasonable you might as well get these quad units. Fantastic!

I wanted to drive some WS2812 LEDs reliably over a longish wire, and although a direct connection to the GPIO pin worked fine, it's not really supposed to, and I wasn't really happy about having a long cable connected directly to the GPIO anyway. After fiddling about with a transistor for a while I decided to try one of these instead. It worked perfectly of course, and I was able to use the other three drivers to buffer indicator LEDs and a relay, so my Pi feels really well protected now. I'll keep a couple of these in my parts box from now on.

Works perfectly to covert 5V pluses to 3.3V ones for inputting to the Raspberry PI. Note that you can either convert from 5 to 3 or 3 to 5 and not both at the same time.

Works fine. Ws2813 leds with raspberry 3.3v converted to 5.0v works perfectly.

Easy to wire! Thinking of designing a board for them as it would make life easier.

Using it to shift a 3.3V MOSI pin of an rpi up to 5V for a LED-strip.
