“I've used these speakers with waveshare monitors which have an audio header output, mainly because they come with the correct connector already attached. While they won't win any awards for the sound quality they are just about good enough for my use - playing voice announcement recordings. They have helpful mounting holes and enough wire to place a speaker on either side of a 7" monitor.”
“I bought these for a project requiring the playing of MP3 samples using the DF1player and an audio amp (see other reviews). I wasn't sure whether this small pair of speakers would have enough volume for what I was needing however I've been pleasantly surprised.
They may be small but they have quite a lot of volume for their size and when cranked up there is no noticeable distortion or crackling. I think they will be plenty loud enough once they are fitted into a 'sound chamber'.
These certainly would be good enough for a model railway or similar scale diorama where sound effects are required. I can think of many use cases for these where they small size yet loud volume would be beneficial.”
