“I was using the buttons on small soldered mp3 circuits as part of an interactive sound sculpture in an exhibition. All fine to begin with, but after about a week I did have some problems with my installation - with some MP3 players not switching on or off when buttons were pressed, or some switching on randomly by themselves. I found replacing the buttons with new ones fixed this, so I'd have to say this indicates it was the buttons that were the problem.... they don't seem to be built to last?”
