It is great at its core functionality, the PI 4 stays within temperature even when overclocked and watching 4k videos is just fine. I would like the possibility to turn off the fan when turning of the PI in standby mode.

Wonderful cooling solution. My RP4 was overheating from watching netflix and stuff, and this thing immediately solved the heating problems. Unnoticeable noise, super-easy installation (put some adhesives included in the price and no code required), feel greats on weight and touch... The temperature of the chip is stable all the time below 37ºC, and before was really hot. Again: wonderful mid-range solution. No overkill or expensive, and good enough to deliver great results. I doubt I will have overheating problems again. It worked combined with the Metal Case For Low-Profile ICE Tower Cooler, which has great ventilation. So all around is great.

Absolutely Perfect! If you can grab one of these before they fly out the warehouse, get one or two! Takes less than a minute to screw the fan in place, and then a few more seconds to stick the heat pads in place then squeeze the heatsink in place. Slot the two pin connectors onto the 4,6 GPIO pins and you’re good to go! As a few have stated make sure you have a case as the heat pads are only sticky one side. That is the only downside, if you’re fussy just apply double sided tape to the other side and stick the heatsink on. The fan is very quiet! Absolutely perfect product!

This is excellent; all my overheating problems went away immediately, and I'm running a pretty intense load. My Pi has been running full load for 2 weeks straight with no problems. I went from a state where heat was radiating off the Pi and touching the chip burns your fingers to one where it might as well be off. It's also pretty silent. Things you may want to know: the sticky pad between sink and chip isn't enough to hold this in place without a case or some other solution, and a groove for the power wires to reach the pins in a neat way is missing, so they just just stick up in the air like in the picture. Neither was really a problem for me. All in all, very happy with this.

I would have given it 5 stars if it had come with a proper fixing kit to keep it in place. It can move around and touch some of the GPIO pins. Not a good idea to rely on the heat transfer pad to keep it in place.

Keeps temperature down when it is overclocked or enclosed.
