“Using with a Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W in headless mode.
Nice looking case and it helps to keep the pi running cooler and has a nice design / look.
You can though not remove the SD card once the PI is in the case. You need to
Comes with two top covers to allow you to access the GPIO pins if required. (one with pin cut out and one without)
I’m using with the Waveshare Ethernet hat and is fits onto the case fine”
“An elegant and minimalist design, although it does look funny with great big cables sticking into it. Thermals are great. I run a fairly intensive headless program that consumes a constant number of CPU cycles per second, and it runs much cooler on the pi Zero 2W in the FLIRC case than on the pi 2, 3, or 4 in standard cases. With aluminium on 5 sides of the pi, WiFi range is understandably reduced, but the RSSI level didn't degrade when I stood the case on a metal plate, which is impressive. My only gripe is that with two identical USB ports, there is no external indication as to which is the OTG one.”
“I've tried a lot of cases and have been using the FLIRC cases since they came out and have to say they are simply the best. This new addition to the range keeps your Pi Zero 2 nice a secure in a robust case which is great for chucking it in a bag and keeping one with you all the time. Don't bother looking for another case as this is th best and at this price a steal.”
“I love this case! It's really high quality and looks really elegent. The only downside is the thicknes since you need to add a riser or a cable in order to connect certain hats and some HDMI cables also have issues with it.”
“Sleek and very well made. Very slight play in top cover, but not an issue when left on a shelf for normal use.
Recessed ports not an issue - checked my micro USB cables had a longish plug and they worked fine (the in-line power switch also works fine for this).
Very pleased.”
