“Perfect little cable for Pi users. I already had a third-party power supply with a preinstalled switch on it but I think because it had only 5V (instead of 5.1V as the original Pi supply) I was getting the small on-screen thunder icon and slow downs while playing retro games. All that was gone once I got the original Pi Power Supply, and now with this On/Off USB-C Cable it's perfect.
I know that a switch should have been already pre-installed in the original Pi supply, but considering the low price of both you'll pay 11£ in total for the power supply and this On/Off USB-C cable. If you go with the cheaper third-party one that already has a switch on it you might end up needing to pay again for the original one due to the slightly lower voltage of those third-party power supplies.
Also, it's not a conventional switch on/off button but a clickable button with a led that turns red to let you know it's on or off. Which is cooler than old style on/off button.”
