So in fairness I missed the warning on the page but I’m still low rating this and let me explain. firstly ONLY BUY THIS IF YOU HAVE THE OFFICIAL PLUG as it does not work with anything else. I am powering my Pi with an Apple 20w USB-C plug because I have a few spare and I am doing so with an Apple USB-C cable and as both are of the USB-C standard they shut down and refuse to supply when they detect this cable on the line. That is because this cable does not follow the USB-C standards and should you also connect this to a non-standard plug and say… in error or for a laugh connect it to your phone, laptop, or other device you have the potential of power being blasted into it badly as the dodgy power supply fails or does not understand what it is doing. This is why proper USB-C devices will cut supply as soon as they seen an issue with the line. In short, it seems that switches on the USB-C line are a no-no and lesson learned. I’ll use a smart plug and hope Siri does not accidentally power off my Pi when I ask it to turn off my bedroom fan or some other device

Had a trawl through the website and came across this little Jem , this will save keep unplugging or reaching for the socket to turn on and off or reset , works a treat , good price and great delivery times too

What a great invention to be honest, makes turning the pic on and off as easy as a light switch. Sure does save fiddling around under the desk or in the data cabinet where my pi now lives

A great addition to my new PI4b(8gb) setup. No more having to plug and unplug the USB power cable.

Inexpensive and does the job with a pleasing clicky action and small not too bright LED to indicate power status.
