“I have said it previously that this is a great product, AND now after reading the product notes more closely and identifying that up to 10 volts can be supplied to the bridge, I am going to swap my 4 AA batteries for a standard 9V battery. I have been experiencing problems with error messages saying "no echo received" and very poor motor speeds possibly due to excessive voltage drop on the Camjam buggy? I will let you know if my test is successful. The size factor of the 9-volt battery will also be a bonus to buggy performance, I am hoping.
I am using the buggy kit bought from the Pi Hut of course and yes another great product, definately recommended.”
“Super easy controller to set up, nice that the unused GPIO pins are already broken out too so you don't have to worry about sorting that out with another header.
It took a while to get to the documentation of the board's capabilities (max load per terminal block etc.) and there are some things on there such as two small indicator LEDs that I couldn't find an explanation for but functionally it's been flawless.”
