“It doesn't es the job of protecting the Pi. But....
It's of a very basic construction and it is far to easy to loose the SIM card into the case when inserting it into place. I don't have sausage fingers by any means but I found in necessary to hold the SIM card with tweezers to get it inserted into the slot to prevent it from becoming AWOL inside the case.
Nothing disastrous but a simple baffle around the SIM card slot would prevent this happening in the first place.”
“A very elegant case - its a pity to connect cables to it! The wifi range might be limited by all that handsome metal (I haven't tested that yet) and it is tricky to insert and remove the microSD card, but it's worth four stars at least.

“It's a lovely sturdy case, very well made, easy to fit the Raspberry PI into. The only two things which would stop me ordering it again is that the SD card is difficult to reach and it appears to block wifi signals. But if I had a particular use case where I wasn't using wifi or needing to access the SD card much, I'd order one again for sure.”
“Nice little case, great value. Fits the Pi well and you can even cram in a PoE board and bigger fan. The case has good ventilation. Not the greatest for MicroSD access but this is easily solved with a little "tab" made from tape on the sd card to pull it out. Other than that, looks good works well. Recommended”
