“I bought this for my Pi 4 with InnoMaker HiFi DAC Hat. It all clips together without tools (but I needed a knife to remove the side panel to access the phono sockets and headphone jack). Very pleased with it!”
“A small and compact case that suits my project. It has screw holes in the bottom, making it possible to permanently and securely install the Pi in every orientation.
Please note that the case does not work very well with every HAT without modifications, for example, the RS422/RS485 serial HAT from Zihatec, which sits pretty low and close to the PCB (11mm), making it not lining up with the precut ports in the case. Also, the thickness of the case wall can cause the original Pi -micro HDMI not to snap properly in place, with the result that the picture flashes or disappears. I modded it with a 12mm drill bit, not pretty but it works.”
“Very easy to use - no tools to hold the Pi. Chance would have it that the knock-outs corresponded almost exactly with the terminal strip on the hat I was using. The good quality case material was easy to drill.”
“Nice sturdy case that clips together securely with room for expansion board. I was able to fit the input cables to my expansion board through the gaps so didn't need to remove the blanking plates but this could be easily done if needed. The little non-slip rubber feet are a nice touch.”
