“The keyboard came with the following keys not working at all: spacebar, T,Y, backspace, left shift, caps lock, tab. I tried it on multiple computers with the same result, then returned it for a refund.
Otherwise, it looks quite nice and minimal, being very similar in layout & dimensions to an earlier generation MacBook keyboard, but with a noticeably cheaper and less consistent finish and response.
I'd say that if it worked it would've been pretty good for the price.”
“For my Raspberry Pi I wanted a fully functional, small, stylish keyboard & mouse for a reasonable price. This is it! Does everything that my “big” keyboard for the Mac does but in a small and affordable package.”
“Just collected my keyboard and mouse and must say that i am truly impressed the the levels of comfort and and build quality of both these peripherals. i have absolutely no regrets for purchasing these products . i am a very satisfied customer”
“Note: I only purchased the keyboard, not the mouse and I'm using it for my work, which has no connection to raspberry pis.
I've been looking for quite some time for a good compact keyboard to do my programming on. I almost ended up purchasing the way too expensive thinkpad wired keyboard (yes, I'm one of the weirdos who still likes the trackpoint) but becaue of the price I gave this one a try and I'm in love.
The keys feel good, slightly stiff, reminiscent of the old mac keyboard (no idea which generation) that I used for a bit and loved. The texture of the keys, however, is different. They are slightly textured for an overall nice feel.
One thing to note is that the ] and # keys, the ones next to the enter key, are smaller than the others. When typing in English it doesn't really matter but I sometimes also type in Hungarian (with the Hun layout) where those are a lot more frequently used. If you also use anything other than the UK layout, you should consider this as it might distract you a lot.”
