Bought this for my son and ended up subscribing so I can introduce more of these projects to my students at school.

The RP W that comes with the Beginners Guide magazine is fantastic, the guide is also informative and helpful too, you still need to be a bit nerdy to read and understand it though. It does indeed have the WOW Factor !

I purchased the RPi Beginners Book with the Pi Zero W, a ZeroCam, and game pad controller. The PiZero booted as expected. I had trouble figuring out which way was up for the cam for a second. The case cover for camera use s for the older circuit board based cameras and does not work well with the ZeroCam as it does not hold it in place and the hole is a bit too close to the camera connection as the ZeroCam has a floating circuit on the cable. Can't wait to start playing with it this weekend!

An excellent way to get a PI Zero and some useful written guidance on how it hangs together and what the possibilities are. A great way to trigger your own ideas on what you might achieve with an RPI

Didn’t know what to expect. Seys up in a few minutes and younhave a computer with loads of software, word processor, spreadsheets and simple games for 25 £. But the best thing is the magazine and its tutorial. Excellent introduction to coding. I knew virtually nothing yesterday, now I have a much better understanding. Bought it for my 8 year old twins, and I’m sure they’ll benefit. But maybe it’s my best Christmas gift. Will definitely upgrade to a Pi3.
