“I already had a pi3 but bought this because it fits into my pocket easy. The book is great it has some real good tips and projects for new users. The HDMI adaptor and the sub adapters are great quality.”
“Very much a beginners guide. Some project ideas, but mostly an introduction to the hardware and terminology. If you have any experience with R-pi then this might not be for you. As a gift to a newbie? Amazing.”
“This book is full of tremendous advice, tips and projects. Unfortunately they use a lot of bright background highlight boxes and on the slick paper it makes reading hard, especially the very tiny font in in white or light gray against light gray backgrounds. I feel they went overboard on trying to be too "artistic" and would have a better product of it were visually "softer." But, as I said, it is thorough, easily understandable and educational. Buy it.”
“I've played around with my Raspberry pi's for a while now and had only limited success. Some of the books i've bought seem to be missing some lines of code just to make you try to sort it out yourself, no names no pack drill. This is much better than them, with fewer deliberate? missing instructions or commas and colons. Altogether much better for me since I can now use all the "stuff" and play to my hearts content.”
