“Everything great except that the camera lid does not fit the offical camera v2.1 due to design changes. The lens sits too high above the board to fit the lid lugs”

“First of all, I can’t stress enough how I’m pleased with The Pie Hut web shop. This is my 3rd order and most probably I will not buy any Raspberry Pi, or Raspberry Pi related device anywhere else any more, except here.
Raspberry Pi Zero W NoIR Camera Pack is a great, multipurpose camera solution, although in most cases it will be used as surveillance camera. It is easy to assemble, software support is great ( highly recommending Motion OS) and all you need is power source on mounting place.
That being said, there are few drawbacks.
Due to Raspberry Pi Zero W processing power, if you want fluid surveillance videos (>24FPS), maximum video resolution should not exceed 640x480 (although camera itself is capable of taking videos up to 1920x1080 at 30FPS). Also, bear in mind that since this is a night camera without infra red filter, colors will not truthfully represented. By my opinion this camera is better suited for externals use due to narrow FOV, therefore you will not cover much space in , let’s say narrow hallway or office. For internal use I would recommend ZeroCam Fisheye.
This is mine 3rd video surveillance system that I build, and all I can say, after initial assembling and software configuration, that this kit is “Plug and Forget”. I have installed first camera in December 2017 and since then it is working flawlessly. Not single system freeze, restart or any problem whatsoever. Great and reliable kit for almost ridiculously small price.”
“Really easy to set up my Raspberry Pi Zero to provide still and auto motion detected video from shed in back garden. Used WiFi to link back to home router and can view from a smart phone from anywhere with web access”
