“First board arrived and was dead . I had to send it back at a cost of £4 to be supplied with a replacement that works . No explanation no apology no offer to refund the return postage .”
“Used for a media Pi plugging into an old Sony amp that pre-dates HDMI, so only takes digital inputs (coax/SPDIF) for decoding 5.1.
Works an absolute treat.”
“I built a Roon Core that feeds my Naim Uniti Atom (main Hifi), and bought the HIFIBerry Digi+ Pro to use as a Roon Endpoint with a Raspberry Pi 3B+ and Micromega MyAmp.
Using the Digi+Pro's coaxial RCA to feed the MyAmp was child's play to set up, and it sounds embarrassingly good! Not as good as the Naim Uniti Atom, but then that costs £2k!”
“After many months of stuttering and hit and miss audio on the pi 3 I decided to purchase the HiFiBerry Digi+ Pro to see if this would solve the problem...and YES IT DID!!. If you want audiophile music quality then grab yourself one of these wee boards.”
“Have used this on a Pi3 with Volumio, DietPi and PiCorePlayer. The latter keeps the SPDIF active all the time which my DAC needs if it isn't to loose the first half-second of tracks (top tip for Mojo owners!). There's a separate option to prepend silence too.”
