“My Pi Zero W wouldn't drive my HDMI monitor regardless of config settings. It would happily drive other monitors hence I suspect problem with monitor not Pi. The HDMI -> VGA converter worked flawlessly with Jessie-lite and VGA monitor, so I could get my system working. System will be monitor-less in operation, so I get to keep the adapter!.”
