“In all honesty, the thing I found most useful about the kit is the metal case, which can fit the Pi Zero in just fine and keeps it protected when on the move.
The additions are all certainly nice to have in one neat package, but for something like a headless use case, you may not even need the kit. So long as you have a WiFi network, setting up the Pi to open SSH on boot is easy, and requires only a microSD card reader, which a lot of laptops already provide.”
“My first time buying a R Pi zero and didn’t really know what I needed, I found that even though it’s called essential, that’s stretching it a little.
I haven’t found a single use for anything in the tin, you can’t even mount the zero in the tin, honestly a few standoffs and a hand full of screws would make this “essential” tin at least useful.
Lessons learnt, don’t buy anything called essential,
On a side note. The quality of all the components inside are high.
Definitely worth something to some one but just no use for me.”
