“I bought the WiFi adapter to use in a Pi Mesh Node (Broadband Hamnet) and it works fine. It has good range compared to some of my other WiFi adapters.”
“Yes it works works and easy to configure but, remember it is small and compromises have to be made. The range is limited because of the small antenna size, so no more than one plasterboard wall between your Wi-Fi router and the device, apart from that limitation a great buy.”
“Bought to replace another one (with a swivelling aerial). I could make no reliable SSH connection to my Pi from any of my other computers, including another Pi. Having messed about as much as I was willing to with WiFi configuration files, I decided to try a new WiFi adapter. This was it, and it worked as soon as it was plugged in, and it hasn't dropped a connection in weeks. My only regret is that there's no cheery light to reassure me that it's doing something.”
