“Really enjoyed my first dish of whitebait in my house. Usually get it at the local pub. The fish were fresh and the coating very tasty. My only concern was that DPD had me down for a late afternoon delivery and I was worried, in the current heat, that it would affect the frozen ness of the fish. As it was, I read your advice online and noted that, as they were still very cold, they would be ok. I put them in the freezer straight away. I have enough for several weeks but will be ordering more when they have gone.”

Hello Ken Reading your review was the first time we were aware that you weren't entirely happy with your order. We do not guarantee that your order will arrive frozen solid but it should certainly be cold to the touch. If so, it is absolutely fine to refreeze. “Found these a bit disappointing. They tended to be on the large side which we didn't like. Prefer whitebait to be small and crunchy, some of these were not very nice to eat whole.”
