“I love these prawns but such a shame they have added E’s/preservatives. I’m not sure if this was written as part of the ingredients on the website or I overlooked it, but I won’t be able to buy these again. Hoping Fish society stocks up on fresh frozen prawns without preservatives, much like their fabulous other fish!”

Hi there, Thank you for your review. We do always actively look to steer away from products with additives but regrettably the options on the prawn market are either very limited or non existent. We do currrently have to prawn products that use a little salt as the only preservative. “These prawns were fantastic. Large and well cleaned. Just added them to hot oil in frying pan and sautéed for a few minutes on each side. Tender and delicious. I was impressed. As an American I always bought giant prawns about 7 to the pound. These were slightly less but excellent and the price was great!!”
