“I used to be a snob about cleaning squid myself, but I'm recently converted to these prepared squid tubes. They're lovely! I did them 'yahni', i.e. I first sliced and cooked a lot of onion and garlic gently in olive oil, then added in a tin of chopped tomato and some chopped parsley; then the sliced squid and salt, and some chili flakes; continued cooking very gently for about an hour. Served with lots of fresh lemon juice and (my favourite) black rice. Easy-peasy!”
