Beef Bone Broth Protein Reviews

4.5 Rating 69 Reviews
It's clean stuff with only the ingredients that are needed for protein and collagen intake. It doesnт't have salt added which is great! Sometimes I add some myself but also use it without, as a healthy bedtime drink.

The bone broth powder doesn't taste of much, I suspect the liquid version is probably tastier. It's great if you're adding it to food as it won't alter the flavour, but as a drink it lacks something, I have started adding a teaspoon of bovril to my 2 tablespoons of bone broth powder and it now tastes amazing! Much better than bovril on its own, if really brings out the flavour of the bone broth. I've only been using it less than a week so can't speak on it's long term effects but I'm hopeful! It's packed with good stuff so can only be good right?!

I originally bought this because my dog had gone off his food. I was mixing it with water and adding it to his kibble. He seemed to really enjoy the taste - happily cleaned the bowl when he wasn't interested in his usual dog food. We've kept using it to add some extra nutrients to his diet and he really enjoys it. He can have a sensitive stomach but we've not had any issues with this brand. His coat is looking lovely and shiny!

It tasted of nothing on it's own when just mixed with water. But added some magic to the soup because everyone asked for seconds but couldn't put their finger on, why! I cooked my usual chicken soup with potatoes, carrots, parsnip, yellow pepper, courgette and chopped tomatoes with birds eye chillies, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and juice if whole lemon which is nice. I like it quite watery, how we eat it in Europe, not all blended and thick like in UK. But my British children aren't too keen. But with two table spoons of this bone broth mixed with water first, it had just made the whole thing unbelievably tasty. Like addictive!I've had to cook the same thing again today because a very large pot was all eaten last night. And my boys are not big soup eaters. I think this would be a genius way to get kids eat more veg and soup.

My husband and I add this into our morning fruit and kefir smoothies. In our 70s, we are very aware that getting ample collagen is crucial for our joints and gut. It blends in very well without affecting the taste. This has become an easy and safe way for us to increase our collagen, and I like the fact that it is pure bone broth from a reputable source and doesn't cost the earth.

I am hoping that it’s as good as claimed but it is an acquired taste. To make it more palatable I do add one poco cube and then it’s delicious.

This has been a true game changer. As a health junkie, I'm always looking for natural ways to improve my family's diet. I add it into our soups, if I'm making gravy or a stew. The kids can't tell the difference! I feel like our bodies absorb this protein a lot more easily than some others as well. Overall, such a great staple to keep in the household.

It's easy to take - 1 tbsp in a glass of warm water. Add either a tsp. Apple Cider Vinegar, or 1/4 - 1/2 tsp. salt, and drink. (High blood pressure? Do not add salt). It tastes good.
