“Works as expected. I have only been using the Stage1 kit but since Powerblock seem to be phasing out the Pro EXP for the Pro EXP 100 I thought I had better get stages 2 and 3 before they stop making it. They fit perfectly and are alot heavier than I am used to but I will get used to them as I train more. Sweatband delivered them on time and kept me informed”

“I'm a big fan of these dumbbells - I bought all three stages for my home gym, and they've made a real difference when I want to lift heavy. They make very little noise when in use, and I have accidentally dropped one and there was no damage (though I wouldn't recommend doing this). The only thing to bear in mind is that the basic mechanism works in 5kg increments. If you want to go up in smaller increments you have to remove the chrome bars that are part of the main handle. It's no big deal, just slightly more fiddly than I was expecting. Overall though I am very happy with the PowerBlocks and would recommend them”

“The whole benefit of the Pro EXP is having the option to expand once strength and finances have increased. Stage 2’s are the minimum weight for average lifters with the target to end on the stage 3’s.”
