“This is such a time saver. I use it with Luna, and now I don’t have to add it as an insert then remove it before bouncing . It’s “In” the Apollo now everything hitting the inputs can have the correction (without even using the DAW) which is so helpful as I am a guitarist first and send a Kemper through the Apollo to practice and record. I wasn’t able to apply SoundID reference before without going through the daw or temporarily reassigning (jumping through hoops) now, I just enable it. So when I’m setting up sounds for shows it is now more accurate. I just went through this week and tweaked my profiles and it sure did make a difference.”
“I am using Sonarworks ID connected to my Apollo. I want the Sonarworks program to remain inactive at all times. However, whenever I open the UAD Console, Sonarworks opens and closes repeatedly. Additionally, when I turn on Monitor Correction in the UAD Console, the Sonarworks program also reacts. I want the Sonarworks ID to remain inactive even when I restart the UAD Console or toggle Monitor Correction, while keeping the correction settings applied.”
“It's the best option for any Logic Pro user, you just set it and forget it in UAD console, it's that simple. No more turning the ref Id mixbus plugin off when bouncing your track. I hope that there will be a future update here the alternate monitors can be selected and used for correction for referencing between 2 sets of monitors. That would be very useful to us studio owners with multi monitor setups.”
“Ive been using sonarworks since reference 3 and I have always found it really useful. When I had a less ideal monitoring setup it gave a me a little bit more confidence in what I was doing. Once I leveled up my acoustics in my studio it has been a great companion to my monitoring peripherals.
Currently Ive been using the apollo integration and I love how easy it is to set it up and forget about it. I can listen to all of my apollos inputs through a calibrated output now and its been great for me. Love that it also can be applied to my headphone output and it takes very little DSP from my interface.”
