“Modern music production requires every ounce of your computer’s cpu. While modern plugins are friends, latencies are foes. To offload you cpu is to consider. Put the calibration in the very end of the chain is worry free. And prevent rendering the track with Sound id reference plugin still active in the chain is very unprofessional.”
“It's great to use SoundID integrated with my Apollo x8p. The only thing that annoys me it's the fact that I have to enable correction both in UAD Console and SoundID every time that I turn on the devide. A wish it could be automated.”
“Appreciate the integration but there's a lot of possible upgrades.. We can't use the linear phase mode, we can't add a second profile for the "alt" mode of the apollo and we need to activate sonaarworks in the uad console each time that's we power the unit ! In this case, it was exactly the same without the addon..”
“Had ARC Studio running here, but wanted to give SoundID a try, especially with the Apollo integration, as I could have one less device running this way. I did not expect any meaningfull audible differences between the two solutions, but I was wrong. I have a well treated room, just wanted to have some room correction for the lower frequencies due to some small peaks and dips. ARC did a good job, however compared with SoundID it sounded kind of boxy. I really like how SoundID sounds. I also liked the measurement process, which is as well better in SoundID.”

“Finally something I use everyday that let me almost forget about my correction. I say almost because of 2 big reasons: 1) every time I open up Console, the correction is disabled, so I manually have to enable it making me waste time or not realise I'm working with that off; 2) please, ask UAD to make it so you can toggle the enable/disable button via MIDI or key, same for the headphones correction. With these 2 modification it would be the ultimate correction tool”
