“Virtual Monitoring is a must-have addon, especially for people like me who work a lot on headphones. I am feeling fully confident to take a session from my studio and continue working on the go with my laptop without having to worry about the translations that the changes I do will have to the mix. The 3 sets of speakers are very helpful because they give the information you expect depending on their size, and focus on different sonic characteristics of the material. I work mainly with Sennheiser HD600 but I had very good results with my Beyer DT880 Pro also. I downloaded the trial version and after a day of working with it I decided that I would purchase it. Highly recommended!”
“I absoluteIy LOVE Sonarworks reference for headphones. It is a key part of my daily workflow. That being said, I find the virtual monitoring add-on okay, but not as good as the Waves Nx Virtual Mix rooms such as Abbey Road Studio 3, etc. I was hoping to keep the entire room correction I was using within Sonarworks, but I don't think it is "there" yet. The rooms just don't sound as good as the Waves Nx. I will continue to try the Sonarworks Virtual Monitoring Add-on out as it develops.”
