“I love this plugin! Using it with my Sennheiser HD 490 Pro headphones has been a real game-changer for working on my productions outside the studio: the sound is much more accurate and reliable than with an uncalibrated headphone setup, and it really helps me make better mixing decisions.
The purchase experience was smooth and straightforward, and all the information I needed (compatibility, licensing, installation) was clear before buying. I didn't need to reach out to Support afterward, everything worked fine on my end.
The only downside: there's no integration with UA Apollo interfaces. It would be great to see that added, since a lot of home studios (mine included) run on Universal Audio gear.

“Long term user of Sound ID reference and before that, and also decided to get Bowers & Wilkins P7 from Sonarworks (individually calibrated) but Virtual Monotoribg was one that wasn’t in my wish list. I love what Reference does for my Genelec 8040s in my room but I didn’t really work with my headphones. Decide to give Virtual monitoring a try and the mix of that and my individual calibrated headphones has meant I’m now doing a lot of work on my laptop as well as in my room. Love it, just wish I could have stretched to the pro version so I can take my Genelecs to bed with me too!”
“It seems like a good product to me. I would have liked profiling from various professional recording studios, rather than a generic one. I'm never sure whether this listening experience is accurate for master mixes. I notice that different headphones, even when profiled, don't sound the same, and this makes me think there's no real linearization taking place. At least that's the impression. Overall, however, the sound is more balanced, and above all, you don't have the isolation of headphone listening.”

In fact, you get the possibility to verify if your mixes still translate while being played back under total different acoustic conditions. If they still sound nice, you can be sure your mixes are ready to be distributed.”
