“I am a sonarworks user since Reference 3. At first I did not want to upgrade from Ref 4 to SoundiD because I was not pleased with the fact that you took out from Ref 4 functions that were in Ref 3 only to give them back via a paid upgrade in sound id. After the reading the news that Ref 4 would not be supported anymore and that M1 native would only be supported by SoundId, I reluctantly made the upgrade. I shouldn’t have done it. Ref 4 was working great. Sound iD is plagged by bugs. Systemwide crashes more than it works, cannot load my profiles half of the time, need the reboot laptop too work properly. The plugin is working ok at best. I still prefer to use Ref 4 in my mix sessions. I never had that much problems with older versions of your software. I wish I had never upgraded. I feel that I wasted my money.”
