I like the new interface, it seems to be an improvement overall from the last version. Sound is awesome just like the last one as well, I don’t listen or mix without it since I got version 4. Between this and VSX I’m set.

SoundID is a great improvement on Reference 4, generally much more stable, though occasionally it needs to be restarted, but there's no weird sound issues as I occasionally found with Reference 4. The plugin version works great and the new listening profiles are incredibly useful.

It was absolutely easy to migrate from Reference 3 to SoundID. The import of the old Reference Licence was done by a few clicks.

The upgrade was easy. The scalable interface, custom targets and all the new features and code are worth of an upgrade in my opinion. Quite sure there are features I am using also that I don´t even recall anymore that they are not in the older version.

I am mostly happy with this product with two annoying exceptions: The setup (currently) is not equipped to "measure" distances for MTM (mid-tweeter-mid) monitors (mine are Presonus Eris E66 in horizontal orientation) since both the mid drivers have the same frequency coverage. One must *manipulate* the software by moving the mic' extremely far back to be able to move forward with inaccurate measurements, then manually override those dimensions by typing in real-world dimensions. The other issue is the compatibility with macOS Ventura 13.2.1 - there's a bug somewhere that routinely allows the SoundID driver to disappear as an audio I/O source... forcing the user to quit the app and relaunch it. Happens numerous times a day. OTHERWISE... I love the solution when it is active and calibrated. :)

Hi, Thanks for your review, we really appreciate it! Sorry to hear that you had encountered some trouble with the measure process. I see that our teammate reported this issue further to our Audio team for more insight and for feedback to take into account, thank you for sharing your experience with us. I am also sorry to hear there is an issue with the app on your Mac machine, but I see you have an open ticket with our support team on this as well, so we'll look further into it. Be sure to contact us anytime if you have any questions or feedback, we definitely value it. Best regards, Zane

The new features are definitely worthwhile as creating your personal profiles is excellent also I feel the performance of the software with the newer operating systems seems much better.
