“Upgraded from the old DAW plug-in, originally bought in 2015. This is an absolutely fantastic product... if, like me, you're forced to work and mix mainly on quality headphones it's a no-brainer. Amazing”
“SoundID is about as broken and buggy as Reference 4, unfortunately. I'm sticking with you only because there's no alternatives, but as soon as some come up, I don't think I will be upgrading with you.”
“upgrading is a hastle. finding relevant information on the website is very inconvenient. Support does need a very long time to get back to you. Your product kees are not automiticaly transfered to the new User account that came with the new Website Design.
it does look very nice, quite like ableton live, but it does not work well and has no proper, consistent coumunication-design for a basic. The dual customer targeting equaly weighted, consumer and profesionals. is not properly thought trough.
The produkt is still nice and i like to work with it”
“SoundID was literally what I first envisioned would be the next update after I Reference 4. I thought it would be so cool if they could manipulate the EQ curve in a way that it would make it sound like other common speakers and that's exactly what they did. I no longer have to continually check in my car or phone, I can just pull up those presets on SoundID and I'll get a much better reference of how my mix will sound across speaker system. I recommend this to be the very first plug-in you should get as a an audio engineer or producer.”
“I'm moving my setup to the studio version, it's amazing to hear music this way, it's like a rebirth. Even the version with headphones allows you to listen to music in the right way to make the right mixing decisions. I am also listening to my favorite CDs to rediscover them, so many details emerge that I had not noticed before. The difference is there and you can listen to it.”
